Security Analytics is an interdisciplinary research area at the intersection of cybersecurity, data science, and systems engineering. It focuses on the extraction, analysis, and interpretation of large-scale security-related data to understand, detect, and mitigate threats in digital systems. Security analytics aims to support the detection of anomalies, intrusions, and patterns of malicious activity.
The Security Analytics Research Group addresses these challenges through fundamental and applied research. Our focus areas currently include, but are not limited to:
Digital Vehicle Forensics
Vehicle Security Operation Centers
Quality Measures in Cyber Threat Intelligence
Enhancing Evidential Integrity and Efficiency through Generative Artificial Intelligence in Knowledge Representation
